| EXPAT® COMPACT |
Long-term social security is of absolutely essential im-portance to staff sent to another country, no matter what their nationality. But with only a few exceptions, the quality of the social safetynet available in their home country rapidly diminishes or disappears altogether.
The BDAE has tackled this problem and developed EXPAT® COMPACT, a concept for foreign social security insurance that is equivalent to social security insurance in Germany. EXPAT® COMPACT is made up of the following modules:
- EXPAT®GLOBAL health insurance
- EXPAT®GLOBAL PREMIUM health insurance
- EXPAT® CASH daily benefits insurance
- EXPAT®JOB unemployment insurance
- EXPAT®SECURE pension insurance
The EXPAT®COMPACT maintains abroad the high standard of social security insurance which staff are accustomed to having back home, enables reinstatement in the German system, and even saves money for businesses and employees alike. The separate modules can be used in various combinations and independently of each other.

| EXPAT® GLOBAL Health Insurance |
| During a stay abroad, the EXPAT® GLOBAL health insurance that is valid all over the world substitutes or supplements existing coverage provided by a private or statutory health insurance company (which should be kept up under a reinstatement policy
). This tariff is of particular interest to executives employed locally at foreign subsidiaries or associates who should have the same health insurance coverage as back home. |

| EXPAT® CASH Daily Benefits Insurance |
| The EXPAT® CASH daily benefits insurance has been developed for people working for international firms. It substitutes or supplements the statutory daily benefits insurance during a stay abroad. A sickness allowance of up to € 150 per day can be insured. |

| EXPAT® JOB Unemployment Insurance |
| The special EXPAT®JOB unemployment insurance for firms’ employees working abroad insures the risk of unemployment, providing coverage equivalent to unemployment insurance in Germany. If a worker is spending a longer period in a foreign country where compulsory social insurance does not take effect, insurance without payment of contributions continues for a period of up to two years to compensate for the waiting periods prescribed under statutory unemployment insurance. |
